133. Black Cat Bones - Death Valley Blues

UK bluesrock. Första versionen av bandet innehöll bland annat Paul Kossoff och Simon Kirke, båda senare i Free. Black Cat Bones är pre Leaf Hound med sound någonstans mellan Free, Cream Hendrix och andra samtida bluesrockband. Plattan Barbed Wire Sandwich spelades in 1969 och släpptes i februari 1970. 

"Barbed Wire Sandwich is a bluesy hard rock "one and done" from the early 70's. Outstanding! The lead guitar just soars. A little like Foghat and Savoy Brown. Actual a lot like Foghat and Savoy Brown and that is praise. Rod Price, who actually played the lead guitar in both those bands, goes apeshit on this long player. Fabulous toe tappers are all over this recording. Early 70's bluesy hard rock.......glorious!" -rod45 

134. Zz Top - Salt Lick

Zz Top är definitivt inte det mest obskyra band jag haft med på listan, snarare tvärtom, men denna rackarrökare till låt är ingen vanlig bit. Detta är Zz Tops första singel som släpptes redan 1969. Brain melting stuff. Varför lät de inte alltid så här? Lyssna även till b-sidan Millers farm från samma singel.

135. A Foot in Coldwater - Deep Freeze

Kanadensisk blues/hardrock släppt 1972. Den självbetitlade plattan innehåller fler bra spår, men Deep Freeze står ut för mig. Lyssna även till In Heat från samma platta.

136. Necromandus - Orexis of Death

Producerad av Toni Iommi från Black Sabbath. Fantastisk bluesrock/heavy prog//70talsrock från Egremont, Cumbria UK. Plattan Quicksand Dream är inspelad 1970, men inte släppt förrän 1990. Orexis of Death hittar du på compilationplattan Orexis of Death & Live som släpptes 2010. 

137. Red Dirt -  Ten Seconds To Go

Uk-baserad rå heavy bluesrock med Captain Beefheart-gruffig sång från 1968. Lyssna även till Death Letter. 

"Ten Seconds To Go" is straight back into the jarring heaviness of Death Letter. This is a seriously pissed-off sounding Free, minus the pop hooks. Dave spews a bile-filled condemnation of those that waste your time with empty promises while the band again concentrates on hammering a huge riff into your soul.

138. Zior - Love's Desire

Brittisk heavy psych från 1971. Ojämn platta med topparna är kanon. Lyssna bara på versriffet till Love's Desire. Världsklass!

139, 140, 141. Euclid - Shadows Of Life/On The Way/She's Gone  

Tung jäkla heavy rock från USA. Spotify tycker att inledningsspåret som är 11 minuter lång ska delas upp i tre delar. Därför räknas denna låt som tre i denna lista. Enjoy!

"This album is a beast and then some. They waste no time in kicking out the jams right off the bat. The opening track is all you need to hear to know that these guys have something special in store for you. The song is divided into three parts; Shadows Of Life, On The Way, and She's Gone. Part A opens the track with a no fucks to give, testosterone fueled riff and pummels all the way through. They mellow out a bit for part B and show their psychedelic side, but the momentum keeps up and builds to the final section of the song. She's Gone brings back the destructive guitar and further pummeling ensues. Overall an 11 and a half minute monster of a track that demonstrates the strength of the band perfectly."

142. Wicked Lady - Run the Night

Martin Weaver, hjärnan bakom Dark-Round the Edges som är en av de allra dyraste psych-plattorna ligger även bakom bandet Wicked Lady och deras två fantastiska släpp The Axeman Cometh och Psychotic Overkill. 

"Depressive, dark and acidic heavy psych with a huge amount of fuzz-wah guitar, the tracks gives me quite the same vibe as some 80's doom metal bands and also, some gothic and death rock bands, but with a deadly overdose of sludgy, heavy and lysergic guitar work. Easily one of the best heavy psych records coming from the UK." 

143. Earthless - Black Heaven

"...improvised, imaginative, explosive rock with no limitations, under the name Earthless. After bringing rock back to its raw visceral essence, through long dilated, sinuous and lysergic ramblings, inspiring an entire generation of Californian musicians, Earthless return to Earth with Black Heaven. Songs lose that cosmic dust that made the contours of the past records unpredictable, playing now compact and direct (less Guru Guru and more Led Zeppelin). The trajectory followed by the spacecraft is more direct and linear than in the past, although the cosmic rays of the guitar and the solar explosions of the rhythmic section constantly deform the route. An intermediate stop at Rancho de la Luna to breathe the air of the terrestrial desert and fill up with heavy blues and then the trio leaves again at full speed (and all groove)." -Anesthetized

144. The Kings of Frog Island - Welcome to the Void

Brittisk stoner/space/jam band. Detta är deras andra album och det innehåller "hiten" Welcome to the Void. Fantastisk låt! För fans av Qotsa/Kyuss.

"The guitars meander in and out like a sidewinder slithering across the dusty scrub of the California palm desert. As with the climate being evoked, the rhythm section is tuned low and the riffs are hypnotic, paying Homme-age to a distinct style wrought forth some 20 years ago by bands like Kyuss and Monster Magnet." -Gusterr

145. Gäa - Gäa

Auf der Bahn zum Uranus är en fantastisk skiva. Kraut/heavy psych. Släppt 1974. 

"Crashing cymbals and some impressive picking open up the self-titled closer, Gaa, which after about a minute slides into a catchy, slightly bluesy riff. A flute joins in for no other reason than its cool and the song reaches its peak of light hearted fun with some "Bah bah bah bah"s. The bass holds down the riff while Frey's exquisite fingers let loose over the top. The song unexpectedly stops and we return to an epic sound reminiscent of the first track and the intergalactic galactic atmosphere is brought back. The crashing drums kick back in suddenly your in The Rock Ship hurtling towards Uranus with comets whizzing either side of you and you're riding along to the tune of some seriously tight jamming.

Ultimately the only way for me to describe the way I feel about this album would be to string a bunch of German words together that I don't know the meaning of, but sound cool. Something like, Auf Der Bahn Zum Uranus." -meandmyarmy
